I traveled to Brunswick, Ohio to visit a coffee shop that was recommended to me, The Grounded Bean. I arrived a little after it opened, there was already a line in the drive-thru. As I entered there was a line at the counter as well. So to say this place is popular is an understatement. The line moved quickly and I placed my coffee & meal order. They had a specialty coffee call “the Reese Egg” , and I was all about that. I then ordered the “build your own Bagel”. The seating options were table, counter or a couch, I always go for a table. It took a little while for my coffee & bagel to come out. When my waitress brought them out she thank me for my patience & explained they were short today. There were only two of them working, but they were doing a great job. Making sure the counter was taken care of as well as the drive-thru. The coffee was simply delicious, the taste absolutely resembling a “Reese Egg”. My bagel sandwich was perfect, toasted to perfection with quality meat & vegetables. I hand a very enjoyable experience here. I got to really enjoy my coffee & bagel sandwich. I absolutely recommend this place if you want a good coffee and food.
Very cute place. My normal coffee place was closed so my husband decided to swing by this place. Very cute inside and their coffee was VERY good. They had some specialty drinks and every option seemed delicious.
I initially gave this place a 4-star review, but I would now like to update it to a 5-star rating. Grounded Bean has truly become a safe space and a source of comfort for me. In moments of stress, uncertainty, or when I’m waiting on difficult news, I find myself coming here to decompress and collect my thoughts. The environment is consistently calming and grounding, and it provides a sense of ease that I deeply appreciate. In addition, the coffee is outstanding, easily the best I’ve had, and uniquely, it is the only coffee that does not make me feel jittery. I genuinely value this place and the consistency of both its atmosphere and quality, and I highly recommend it.
Are you kidding me right now!? This place is amazing. The staff are attentive and fun, happy to be at work, jovial to customers. There’s two other people working on their laptops in here and I’m by the fireplace and such cute vibes. I’m enjoying a little breaky b for lunch. Sausage bacon egg n cheese with SRIRACHA AOILI!? I got the iced bonfire latte & literally could not be happier.
Very nice spot in Brunswick. Plenty of seating of various kinds. Lots of windows and sunlight. Very nice workers and servers. My only disappointment was the amount of ice in the cold brew. VERY full. But the coffee was good. Breakfast burrito was average but I didn’t do the aoli. I’ll be back, great spot
My favorite coffee shop! I almost always order an Iced Mocha, and it is so good every time! I love that there is a drive-thru, as I have young kiddos and getting them in/out of the car is not always the easiest task. The staff always greet you with a smile, and the inside of the shop is such a vibe as well!
Cool alternative to the major corporate chains. Super nice people and a cozy atmosphere. Family owned . Vote with your dollars! You could probably work from home there. Haven't had the food yet but seems likely to be amazing as well
I’m so glad Brunswick has such a great non-chain coffee shop! They have great espresso and coffee drinks, and the food I’ve had is really good. The cinnamon roll is insane, it absolutely seems made from scratch. The baristas were fast and friendly, and prices were refreshingly reasonable. Plenty of comfy seating and outlets available. The only thing to consider is the drive thru speaker can be heard in the cafe so if that might bother you, bring headphones.
The Grounded Bean is my husband and I’s go-to coffee spot! They have delicious coffee (not to mention the fun seasonal specials), the best build-your-own bagel sandwiches, and the sweetest treats to top it all off. It’s our favorite little shop that we love big time! 🤍
Great little coffee shop. Super friendly staff and they always offer a free pup cup. We got an iced mocha latte which was very good and an iced chai latte. So many shops can’t make a good chai latte so it’s nice to have someplace to go that gets it right. Their cinnamon rolls are one of the best around.
